New Director General appointed to Bribery Commission

How many big ticket corruption cases has it solved over the years especially involving politicians? Looks like this office has limits on the type of corruption amount taken. If it didn’t have limits, there should be more high level corruption cases over the years solved. Unfortunately, most are not investigated at all even obviously having some kind of criminal intent.

Many cases filed by BC were withdrawn in the past. So with a new BC it will not make any difference

What bribery commission did in the past? Nothing like RW!! There are many clear cases like Kappam Thunga, Pagapala and Manu more! No action has been taken by these Pin Padi Mobs!

We hope under the new government which will come to power this year, will commence how Dilrukshi the former bribery commissioner was sacked due to the conspiracy hatched by Wajira Abeywardana and Senadipathi fabricating a telephone conversation. Finally it was held by the courts that the said conversation was distorted and she was released from all the charges and further court ordered to reinstate her as the bribery commissioner.
