Nearly 2,000 PCR tests within yesterday

A total of 1,998 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests were carried out yesterday, Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) said.

It was the highest number of PCR tests conducted within a day.

Meanwhile, a total of 53,092 PCR tests have been conducted so far in Sri Lanka.
