Navy starts cardiac cath Lab at Hambantota hospital

Colombo, Jan. 19 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Navy has commenced construction of a new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Hambantota District General Hospital.

The project was ceremonially launched on January 15 with the Navy providing technical expertise, while financial support has been extended by a philanthropic Sri Lankan couple based in the United States.

Senior officials from the Sri Lanka Navy and the health sector, including Commodore Aruna Weerasinghe and Dr. Asela Gunawardena, were present at the inauguration, highlighting the Navy’s continued involvement in community-oriented healthcare initiatives.
