NTC takes action against bus crew for endangering passengers in floods



Colombo, Dec. 5 (Daily Mirror) - The National Transport Commission (NTC) has disciplined the Monaragala-Colombo bus owner, driver, and conductor for putting passengers at risk while traveling through flooded areas in Kumbukkana.

The bus owner and crew were summoned before the NTC last Wednesday. Following an investigation, the bus’s road permit was suspended for two weeks.

In addition, the driver and conductor have been suspended from service for one month due to their misconduct.
