After reviewing fuel distribution, the power and energy minister today instructed the distribution of additional stocks of all products islandwide in the next three days.

He said the lapses in distribution, delays in unloading and delays in payments for orders by fuel stations have created long lines queues.

However, the ministry is planning to minimise the queues in the next two days. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

No need noh! Because it get renewed every week with fresh quota. Why if one couldn't get this week fuel , if they pump this week quota in addition to next week's one, are they going to run for the fun of it to burn fuel?

Few days ago, it was about the super diesel coming in. No mention of potential upcoming problem. Is minister so failing to see what can happen. What kind of staff does he have that are so incompetent. He is at odds with CPC staff ro wanting to reduce CPC staff by half. He will never have the support of the people of lanka for anything.
