Since obtaining Independence, this is all the Military has been used. Never for defending the country against outside forces, but against own precious citizens of the country. Notoriously something wrong with this country.

President not communicating a plan of action and instead hiding behind the IMF conditions is creating a lot of anger. If the president was humble enough to share a plan even if a vast majority did not understand the plan, he would have atleast got the blessings of the professional and middle class who actually struggle to live after paying the high taxes. Students, Clergy, buddhist monks who usually shout at aragalaya protests dont pay taxes compared with the private sector middle income earners most of whom are busy at office while the lethargic jobless ones get on the street and protest. So when the professionals and executives gets to the streets president must realise he needs to be more empathetic and communicate a firm date plan upto which these high tax brackets will be in force. Das einzige was Rani kann ist das Militär zu rufen. Er muss mit den Demonstranten reden und ihnen zuhören. Das ist Politik. Vielleicht sollte er Mal zum Lernen nach Europa gehen.
