Man injured in shooting at Meetiyagoda

A 47-year old man was injured after he was shot at while riding a motorcycle at Magawela in Meetiyagoda this morning.

Investigations have revealed that the shooting was carried out by two unknown persons who came on a motorcycle.

The injured person has been admitted to the Balapitiya Hospital for treatment. He is a resident of Ambalangoda and Meetiyagoda Police are conducting further investigations.
