Man arrested for hiding fuel bowser at private company premises in Sapugaskanda

A 50-year-old man was arrested for hiding a fuel bowser containing 3500 litres of diesel illegally at a private company premises in Sapugaskanda yesterday.

The STF said the raid was conducted by the STF team at the Gonahena camp.

The value of the seized diesel was more that Rs. 1.4 million. The suspect, a resident of Galle, was handed over to the Sapugaskanda Police.
