Mahinda Rajapaksa to join opposition rally in Nugegoda

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is expected to take part in the rally in Nugegoda, organized  by opposition parties led by the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) on November 21.

Speaking to the media during a visit to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy where he received blessings for his birthday Rajapaksa confirmed that he intends to attend the protest rally, which is being organized in opposition to the government.
