Colombo, April 27 (Daily Mirror) - Member of Parliament Ramanathan Archchuna was arrested a short while ago.

He was taken into custody by the Ilavalai Police in Jaffna in connection with an incident in the Periyavilan area of Jaffna, where he allegedly threatened a woman at gunpoint.

The arrest was made while the woman involved in the dispute with MP Ramanathan Archchuna was already in remand custody.
