Colombo, July 21 (Daily Mirror) - The Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital (LRH) in Colombo has issued an urgent notice requesting parents and guardians to bring essential medical documents when bringing children for treatment or clinic visits, as the hospital faces a sharp rise in pediatric admissions due to the ongoing dengue epidemic.
Hospital Director Dr. Pradeep Ratnasekera said the number of children seeking treatment has increased significantly, leading to heavy congestion at the country's premier children's hospital.
He said the cooperation of parents and guardians is vital to ensure children receive prompt and efficient medical care despite the increased patient load.
Accordingly, parents are requested to bring the following documents whenever they visit the hospital:
