Kottahachchi denies appearing in photo with Mahinda

Colombo, Oct. 30 (Daily Mirror) - National People’s Power MP Nilanthi Kottahachchi has clarified that she is not the person seen with former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in a photo circulating on social media.

In a statement posted on her Facebook account, the MP also confirmed that she did not attend the wedding mentioned on the former President’s official Facebook page, and was not a guest at the ceremony.

She warned that legal action will be taken if the photo is edited or misrepresented in any way.

“I hereby state that I am not the person in the photo circulating on social media with Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, and that I did not attend the wedding ceremony mentioned on his official page. Legal action will be taken if the image is altered in any manner,” the MP said.

all blame should be against Lakmali Senawirathna (Chief Organizer at Srilanka Mahajana Party) who mislead the public, any legal action should be against this buffalo, source of fb image misleading, this person in pic ear lobes different, smile is downward, temple hairline is different and glasses different cheeckbones too, our idiots just jump the gun when they see anything, cant identify another person by picture haha and chief organizer for a party, hopefully organizes a party for some drug lords as usual

Good that you have clarified. Otherwise public would be wondering whether you were directly seeking answers from Mahinda, on how many millions of dollars he had siphoned off to Uganda!
