Keep mobile phones, other electronic devices away from exam centres: Com. General

Bringing or keeping any electronic devices during the time of the Advanced Level (A/L) examination will be strictly prohibited.

Disobeying these rules could lead to eviction from the examination centre and the candidate will be banned from appearing for A/L examination for a period of five years, Examination Department Commissioner General H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara said.

In accordance with the examination act, he mentioned that mobile phones and related electronic devices, such as Bluetooth devices, will not be permitted, brought in, or kept in the possession of the candidates.

It was also mentioned that keeping the above mentioned devices where the candidates can reach or access them is also prohibited.
