Inland Revenue Act comes into effect from today
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana today endorsed the certificate on the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill and Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Bill, the Communication Department of Parliament said.
These Bills were passed in Parliament yesterday.
These two Bills were taken up for debate in Parliament yesterday (07) and the day before yesterday (06).
Accordingly, the two Bills, the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 14 of 2023 and the Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Act No. 15 of 2023 will come into effect from today (08).
