Indian fuel shipment arrives at Colombo Port



Colombo, March 30 (Daily Mirror) - An Indian vessel carrying a consignment of fuel reached the Colombo Port yesterday, the Ports and Civil Aviation Ministry said.

The ship HARI ANAND docked at the Dolphin Jetty at approximately 1.30 p.m., officials confirmed.

The fuel consignment has since been transported to the Kolonnawa Fuel Storage Complex for distribution.

In total, the shipment amounts to 36,000 metric tons of fuel, comprising 18,000 metric tons of diesel and 18,000 metric tons of Octane 92 petrol.

The Ministry said that the delivery is part of ongoing efforts to maintain a steady supply of fuel in the country.
