IGP Chandana Wickremaratne arrived at Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court in connection with the Galle Face protest case.

At a previous occasion, Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage issued an order directing the IGP to appear in court to show cause as to why police failed to transfer Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon in accordance with Attorney General's advice.(Lakmal Sooriyagoda)
