Former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will make his debut in a political stage on March 8, SLPP sources revealed.

He will attend the mass rally jointly organized by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna to be held in Kandy Public Market premisses on 8th. targeting the forthcoming elections. Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and Basil Rajapaksa will also participate at the meeting.

A similar mass rally will also be held in Salgado Ground in Anuradhapura on 26th of this month.(Sujith Hewajulige)
