all those who vilify gota, please don't forget that you walk out on streets without bomb fear thanks to the efforts of his and others. of course SF led the forces. Gota should not join politics. Anyhow when Mahinda wins next general election he will repeal 19th amendment and bring back a third term and become President for the third time. He will never allow gota or basil to be president as he knows their limitations, which is better. Mahinda is a seasoned politician so a better batsman for country than anyone else in the opposition or maithripala sirisena.

I think MS should be President with MR as Prime Minister. Gota with Basil could be the livewire and organizers - out of politics. Others can rally round them. Have a balanced program in foreign relations, the economy as well as communal harmony.
