Colombo, June 5 (Daily Mirror) - The goods in the 323 controversial containers included weapons belonging to slain LTTE Leader Velupillai Prabhakaran, MP Ramanathan Archchuna told Parliament today.
“I have been told that the containers carrying the goods belong to Prabhakaran. I may get shot for saying this as I have not been provided with security,” the MP said.
“Prabhakaran tried to import goods from Thailand before 2009,” he added.
Government MP Devananda Suraweera who responded said Dr. Archchuna had gone insane.
“He may be a doctor but it looks like he has gone insane,” the MP added.

If these containers containers belong to just one guy and Arjuna says it is Prabakaran's weapons, does it not imply Prabakaran is alive? So sure it is one guy?? If Prabhakaran tried to import goods from Thailand before 2009 where were these for 16 years. Containers are stored outdoors and may have fully rusted.

In the unlikely event that Archchuna is not in La-La Land, this was a positive outcome of delays at customs where it has taken a full 16 years for containers to be cleared !! He is very well aware that he will loose his parliamentary seat very soon due to the on going appeal court case. Also he is always in need of content to up keep his youtube channel. Having security around him is another dream for him. It is unfortunate that he was elected as an MP of the tamil speaking people.
