GIT 2025 examination results released

Colombo, July 20 (Daily Mirror) - The Examinations Department has released the results of the General Information Technology (GIT) Examination 2025 today (20).

According to the Department, a total of 200,235 candidates applied for the examination, including 199,598 school candidates and 637 private candidates. The examination was conducted at 1,669 examination centres with the support of 325 coordination centres.

A total of 147,407 candidates sat for the examination.

Candidates can check their results by visiting the Department of Examinations' official websites and entering their examination number.

The Department also announced that, from July 23, both school and private candidates will be able to download or view their Results Schedule by logging into their personal accounts using either their examination number or National Identity Card (NIC) number through the online examination portal.
