Four Sri Lankans injured while filming Iranian attack in Israel

March 22 (Daily Mirror) - Four Sri Lankan nationals have been hospitalised after sustaining injuries while attempting to videograph the Iranian missile attack in Dimona, Israel, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel confirmed.

According to the embassy, the individuals were in a public area at the time of the attack and had not sought shelter in designated safe locations. Footage of the incident reportedly circulated on social media.

Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel Nimal Bandara said all four suffered injuries from shattered glass caused by nearby buildings, with shards striking their heads and other parts of their bodies.

He warned that such conduct violates safety instructions issued by Israeli security authorities. The Ambassador emphasized that, upon hearing the sirens—issued three minutes before a missile strike—individuals should immediately proceed to a secure location and take appropriate shelter.
