Former Member of Parliament from ITAK, Mavai Senathirajah passed away a short while ago after suffering a brief illness.

Senathirajah was admitted to the Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) of the Jaffna Teaching Hospital following an accident at his residence a few days ago.

RIP. In elderly people falls, fractures of skulls, brain haemorrhages leads to death. The only treatment is to avoid falls by taking sensible measures. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Heartfelt condolences. Finally he supported all President election candidates Ranil ,Arinenthiran and Sajith. After 70 years of ages ,all politicians must be away from politics and should be consultants of the relevant party. Then they will be respected by people. It well suits to Mr MR also
