Fmr SDIG Senanayake re-remanded

Former Senior DIG Anura Senanayake was further remanded till September 07 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris today.

He was arrested in May on charges of concealing information about the killing of rugby player Wasim Thajudeen.

Meanwhile, former Narahenpita Crimes OIC Sumith Perera was also re-remanded along with DIG Senanayake till September 07 by the Magistrate. He was arrested over the same allegation. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
