Flood warnings extended for Gin Ganga, Kuda Ganga, Kalu Ganga, Nilwala Ganga

Flood warning alerts issued for the Gin Ganga Basin, Kuda Ganga sub-basin of the Kalu Ganga and Nilwala Ganga basin will be extended for the next 24 hours, the Irrigation Department said.

While issuing the flood warning, Irrigation (Hydrology) Director S.P.C. Sugeeshwara said people and motorists are requested to pay high attention to these warnings.

Disaster Management authorities too are requested to take adequate precautions in this regard. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
