Five people from Agalawatta confirmed positive for Covid-19

Five people from Dapiligoda in Agalawatta, who had contacts with a COVID-19 positive sailor, have contracted with the virus.

According to the Agalawatta MOH, the PCR tests confirmed that the parents, wife and 4-year-old daughter of the sailor and another relative were contracted with the virus.

The infected were admitted to the IDH Hospital.

The sailor attached to the Welisara Navy Camp who was on leave was tested positive for Covid-19 on April 25.

In addition, the sailor's brother-in-law also reported to have virus symptoms and was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital.
