Final weekend to see Dehiwala Zoo’s lion cubs up close

Colombo, June 20 (Daily Mirror) - The special opportunity for visitors to see the two lion cubs born at the Dehiwala Zoological Gardens from close range will end on Sunday (June 21), with the Department of National Zoological Gardens urging the public to make the most of the final weekend.

According to the department, thousands of visitors have flocked to the zoo in recent weeks to catch a glimpse of the playful cubs and experience the unique up-close viewing arrangement.

The department said the special viewing opportunity will come to an end from tomorrow, urging animal lovers and families to visit the zoo before the arrangement concludes this weekend.
