Colombo, April 14 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka’s expressways recorded more than Rs. 163 million in revenue over a three-day period from April 10 to April 12, reflecting a surge in holiday travel, the Road Development Authority (RDA) said.
According to RDA Director General Anuradha Hettiarachchi, a total of 434,338 vehicles used the expressways during the three-day period.
Meanwhile, revenue collected on April 12 alone amounted to Rs. 45 million, the RDA added.
