Existing stock of fuel at CPSTL, CPC plants released

The Power and Energy Ministry today released the existing stocks of fuel at all Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) and Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) plants.

Accordingly, 20,598 MT of diesel, 1,778 MT of Super Diesel, 42,750 MT of 92 octane petrol, 6,579 MT of 95 octane petrol, and 3,104 MT of JET A1 fuel have been released to be supplied.

Subject Minister Kanchana Wijesekera today said that petrol from a freighter is currently being unloaded. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
