Exams Commissioner appreciates FUTA’s decision on evaluating A/L answer scripts

The Examinations Commissioner General today appreciates the decision taken by the Federation of University Teachers’ Association (FUTA) to take part in the evaluation of answer scripts for the 2022 (2023) Advanced Level examination.

He said that the evaluation of answer scripts for 12 subjects has already commenced.

The Commissioner General requested the FUTA to provide their contributions to the evaluation of the answer scripts of the remaining subjects immediately.

Also, the Commissioner General requested all teachers to join in the effort to complete the A/L answer script evaluation. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)

Whatever different of opinions people have with government they should not use that to punish student communities..students are the national wealth of this country ...so all those politicians; teachers and lecturers must know how to negotiate and come to terms with their problems and demand...No nation can progress if we fight each other in Politics and public administration as we have seen in this examination problem...Never do this again..we are living in a visually digital world and entire world knows what is happening in our country...Please don't harm the education of our next generations...they will curse you if you do this mistake again .. don't play with the lives of students due to your Politics

Well said Love Lk. Already FUTA is responsible of wasting 3 months of student's life. Don't know how important time for students' life. They might have missed whole year of admission in any foreign universities. Whether their demand is right or wrong they should not be allowed to damage students life in future.
