Estate workers’ daily wage to increase by January 2026

Colombo, Nov. 7 (Daily Mirror) - The daily wage for estate workers will be increased from Rs. 1,350 to Rs. 1,750 by January 2026.

Presenting the 2026 Budget in Parliament today, he said estate owners will contribute Rs. 200, while the government will provide a daily attendance incentive of Rs. 200
