Colombo, Jan. 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Nalaka Kaluwewa, has instructed the principal of Nalanda College, Colombo to submit a report regarding an alleged close relationship between the school’s head prefect and three female teachers, and the circulation of related videos on social media.

He said that the Education Ministry has taken note of the videos currently being circulated on social media in connection with the incident. The Secretary further said that appropriate action would be taken after the completion of investigations, based on the findings of the principal’s report.

He also highlighted that until the report is received, no action, including disciplinary measures, can be taken against the teachers allegedly involved.

Currently, several videos involving the student concerned, the teachers in question, and a parent of a student are reportedly circulating on social media.

Dont even bother to mention about the morality of the Teachers and the Seniour Prefect, how stupid are these teachers? Didnt they realize that there was a possibility that the boy could record it and it could leak. Stupidity at its peak, imagine this calibre of people teaching children?

It can put many innocent lives at risk such as family members or even relatives If you receive any pictures or clips, delete them immediately without forwarding and seal it then and there. Teachers and head prefect should be suspended forthwith based on photographic evidence whilst investigation and inquiry takes place. Upon conclusion it will be surprising if they’re not fired and pensions cancelled
