Dry conditions prevail as frost risk looms in Nuwara Eliya

Colombo, Jan. 16 (Daily Mirror) - Issuing the weather forecast for the next 36 hours, the Department of Meteorology said today that mainly dry weather will prevail across most parts of the country.

However, the Department warned of a possibility of ground frost at some places in the Nuwara Eliya district during the early hours of the morning.

According to the department, misty conditions are also expected in several areas, including the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western, North Central and Uva Provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts, particularly during the early morning hours.
