Do not fly kites near Hambantota-Polpitiya High Tension Line: CEB

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) warned people not to fly kites in the vicinity of the Hambantota-Polpitiya High Tension Line.

The CEB said in a special notice that people are advised not to do so as the construction work of the final stage of the Hambantota-Polpitiya 220 KW high voltage transmission line is currently underway.
