Deshabandu Thennakoon takes leave: Acting SDIG appointed for WP

Western Province Senior DIG Deshabandu Tennakoon has gone on a 14-day leave, police said.

They said D.J. Palihakkara has been appointed as the acting senior DIG in charge of the Western Province during that period.

Earlier, the Attorney General has instructed Inspector General of Police (IGP) C.D. Wickramaratne to transfer Senior DIG Tennakoon in order to ensure there is no interference to the investigations that are underway in connection with the incidents that took place on May 9.(DSB)

So the Attorney General of Sri Lanka has no power or authority over the Mafia Police is it? Why are all the thugs are roaming free? This thug Deshanbadu, Johnny, Namal, Mahinda all should be arrested. What's the secret behind all this ? Does Deshabandu know more about the Easter bombing, that implicates Rajapakse's? Where is justice in this country?
