President Gotabaya Rajapaksa retained the Ministry of Defence portfolio during the swearing-in ceremony of the new Cabinet held in Kandy today.

Meanwhile, MP Chamal Rajapaksa was appointed as the State Minister of Defence, Home Affairs and Disaster Management before President Rajapaksa.
