Sepal Amarasinghe who was arrested for making a controversial statement on Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, further remanded until January 17 by the Colombo Magistrate's Court.

He was arrested for making defamatory remarks on Dalada Maligawa, a sacred place of worship of the Buddhists.
