The Daily Mirror newspaper secured four accolades at the 'Journalism Awards for Excellence 2023'.

The Daily Mirror received awards for Best Photojournalist of the Year, Best Cartoonist, a Merit Award for Best Designed News Website of the Year and Subramaniam Chettiar Award for Reporting on Social Issues.

Award Winners:

Best Photojournalist of the Year – Pradeep Pathirana
Best Cartoonist – Awantha Artigala
Merit Award for Best Designed News Website – www.dailymirror.lk
In addition, Deputy Features Editor of the Daily Mirror Kamanthi Wickramasinghe won the Subramaniam Chettiar Award for Reporting on Social Issues.
