Colombo, Oct. 23 (Daily Mirror) - Daily Mirror Deputy Web Editor Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama has received a Merit Award in the Media Sector – Individual Category (English Medium) at the Presidential Environment Awards 2025, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to environmental awareness and communication.

The annual awards ceremony, organized by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA), honours individuals and institutions that demonstrate excellence in environmental conservation and sustainable practices.
