China has decided to donate another 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine to Sri Lanka, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said.
The vaccine doses will arrive in Sri Lanka within this month.
Further, the Embassy has coordinated the procurement of 14 million doses of vaccine from Sinopharm by the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation at a time supplies are extremely tight due to the exceptionally high local demand and from many other countries

But we hear many poor countries have excess vaccines. May be our Hon. Politicians can negotiate with them and buy some for cash. As per Hon. Johnny our govt is flush with cash. Afterall what is the use of holding cash when people die.
