Champika arrested over Road accident

Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) a short while ago.

He was arrested after the Attorney General advised the Senior DIG Colombo to arrest and produce him before the court over a road accident in 2016.

Why didn't same Attorny General nit advice to the CCD to arrest. It us very clear that pure political revenge on 2015 political decission of Ranavaka.

We have had enough of this political circus. When someone is in power the law enforcement is numb and with the opposition its over active. Its hilarious they came to their senses after four years to prosecute a traffic offence.

Did champika misused his ministerial powers and connections to cover up this accident, but this arrest happened unbelievably faster,compare with central bank swindlers,who are still roaming freely
