After much deliberation, the Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) has decided to support Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his bid for the Presidency, MP Jeevan Thondaman said today.

Posting a message on his official Twitter, he extended his wishes to Dullas Alahapperuma and Anura Kumara Dissanayake as well. (CS)

Who ever appointed, it will tough time for Sri Lanka least for next 1,2 years. But least we need to make sure a steady government is in place so that we can start begging, smartly this time. Involving Religious minded into the Parliament is always going to pour racism, ethnics boundaries etc which is a curse for years to come.

Not unexpected. He like his father and grand father will always go with the winner irrespective of principles and ethics. Shame, the long suffering estate workers who are a contingent of our bread winners don't choose alternative, better leadership.
