CPC allows fuel for all vehicles tomorrow under QR system

Colombo, March 31 (Daily Mirror) - The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) announced that fuel will be available tomorrow (April 1) for both odd- and even-numbered vehicles under the existing QR quota system.

This special arrangement has been introduced as March 31 and April 1 fall on consecutive odd-numbered dates, which would normally prevent even-numbered vehicles from refueling.

Under the temporary measure, vehicles with both odd and even registration numbers can obtain fuel according to their respective QR quotas.

The CPC emphasized that this exception applies only to April 1, with the standard odd-even system resuming from April 2 onwards.
