Athurugiriya shooting: Army Colonel remanded

Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Kumara Nettasinghe, who was arrested yesterday in connection with the shooting incident in which his wife was injured, was remanded till September 9 by Kaduwela Magistrate Dhammika Hemapala today.

 The Lt. Colonel’s wife was injured after she was shot at by an unidentified gang in Athurugiriya Saturday night. (Irangi Edirisinghe)
