Asia Pacific Regional Scout Workshop in Sri Lanka

The Asia Pacific Region of the World Organisation of Scout Movement will hold the Membership Growth Scout Meet hosted by the Sri Lanka Scout Association from 13 to 17 September 2023 at Hotel Morven, Colombo 3.

16 countries from the Asia Pacific Region have confirmed their participation.

The meeting will discuss the ways and means of increasing the Membership Growth in the member countries and their retention. 

The opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday 13 September 2023 at 9.30 a.m. M.U.M. Ali Sabry PC, Minister of Foreign Affairs will be the Chief Guest.

The organizing team under the direction of APR Director Prassanna Shrivastava and Chief Scout Commissioner of Sri Lanka Attorney at Law Janaprith Fernando are making elaborate arrangements to hold a successful workshop.

The Workshop Director is Headquarters Commissioner Saminda Jayasekera.

Headquarters Commissioner Dr. Asanka Eriyawa will function as Programme Coordinator and Asst. Chief Commissioner Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Andrew Wijesuriya will be the Admin Coordinator.
