Army team deployed to rescue three groups stranded on Narangala mountain

Colombo, October 4 (Daily Mirror) - Some 22 individuals belonging to three groups who were camping on the Narangala mountain in Badulla have faced a risky situation due to heavy rains and strong winds.

The Disaster Management Centre in Badulla said a team from the Sri Lanka Army has been deployed to rescue them.

The three groups include those who had arrived from different parts of the country, the Badulla DMC office said.
