Colombo, March 20 (Daily Mirror)- National People's Power (NPP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake is leaving for Canada this evening, party sources said.
He is to participate in several meetings with the Sri Lankan diaspora in Canada.
Dissanayake is to adress two meetings organised by the NPP Canada Committee on March 23 and 24.
He is also scheduled to meet the Sri Lankan Muslim and Tamil diaspora in Canada.

We had a lot of foolish Rata wiruwo who voted for Gota in 2019. Now the same stupid lot will end up voting for another nut job at the next election and go back and earn their monies overseas. Even though we blame politicians its finally the citizens who vote stupidly and put these idiots into positions of power. AKD has his own wife and child living in a scandinavian country and they have 8billion rupees in their party funds. So they will also serve the masters who paid them if they win. Think wisely at least this time before you vote.

Looks like the western allies are trying to isolate China by winning over every political party. India USA Canada Japan Australia will do all it has to to prevent Russian and Chinese influence on a political party. Currently SLPP is the party that had been supportive of China now all who teams with SLPP will be "Bought over" by the QUAD

We all , Sri lankans, support young leaders like Anura to make this country rich again. Famil politicks should end and need youngters with the vision to promotr communal harmony and propserity. Even today africa like Burkina faso , Rwanda leaving set side the communal politics and targeting hihrg statdard of living for thei citizens. I hope future generations will work hard and promote prosperity. We should give chance to Mr Anura . Some tamils speaks about the past but we should see the future and live as Sri Lankans.

But they are mostly haters of elites as their Doctor Harini mentioned recently. For them anyone who has a decent level of living but not voting for NPP is an elite. It appears that they will eliminate this group once in power. So like in Russia, you will have a ruling class and a working class. The working class should obey the ruling class.
