A/L exams postponed due to adverse weather

Colombo, November 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Commissioner General of Examinations has issued a special announcement stating that the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2025 scheduled for today (27) and tomorrow (28) will not be held due to the severe disaster situation caused by adverse weather across the country.

Accordingly, a notice has been issued to Provincial Directors of Education, Zonal Directors of Education, Officers in Charge of Regional Assembly Centres, Coordinating Officers and school principals.

The Department said the subjects scheduled for November 27 and 28 will be rescheduled, with new dates to be announced later.

Officials have also been instructed to pay special attention to the security of examination question papers stored at coordination centres during this period.
