85 more arrested

The Navy arrested eighty five illegal asylum seekers 60 nautical miles off the coast of Galle last evening, Navy spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said

Among those arrested were 75 males, 4 females and 6 children the spokesman said.

The arrested individuals are currently held in Galle and will be handed over to the CID for further investigation
