Why is this a sickening joke.
This is Not our problem, it's that of Australia's.
I don't blame anyone trying to leave our shores.

The people leaving illegally by boat do so because they are ignorant and lack intelligence.

These people are risking their lives for what? They are nearly all economic refugees. The Australian govt has seen thru l all this and their reception will be incarceration in Nauru, a bleak nasty place in the pacific and the other Manuas Island is as bad.. They are not certain to be admiited as refugees to the mainland in the near future, and they may rot in these hell holes for a long long time. Most of these people could hardly speak English and unskilled. Their chances of a better life is grim.. Like it or not . Aussies dont like peole who migrate thru the back door., I say this as an Aistralian citizen of Sri Lankan origin.. Sri Lanka with all its faults is better for this type of refugee than being humiliated and treated like Pariahs. Austraklia is a Paradise for educated professionals, not for labourers and fishermen,.

(Part 2) You may have left Sri Lanka using a good lawyer and paying through your nose to "migrate" but that doesn't make you any better than the people who are trying to enter by Boat for the very same reason of a better future. It's because of people like you that there is such inequality and discrimination and the Australian government and its people are so divided on the issue of refugees - but what everyone agrees on is the inhuman treatment and off-shore processing. Dont forget Australia is a nation build on refugees and migrants. So get off your high horse and for everyone reading this numpty's comment is not representative of the majority of Australians.
