45 rounds of live ammunition found in cinnamon estate at Udugama

Colombo, Nov 1. (Daily Mirror) - Some 45 rounds of live ammunition for T-56 rifles were recovered while abandoned in a cinnamon estate in Aluthwatte in Udugama this afternoon.

They were concealed in a parcel under a stone when recovered by the Special Task Force personnel attached to the Hiyare STF camp, Galle.

The ammunition were handed over to the Udugama police for further investigations.
